Aniekan gained a significant attention in Washington, DC  for his Fredrick Douglas Mural in Annacostia, the Duke Ellington building mural and the highly noted Gagged George Washington mural on Ust NW. These large scale pieces illustrate is mastery of the spray paint medium as well as his continued commitment to brining the graffiti arts into the commissioned public art arena.
He is currently working on plans to take his  Village B-boy series  back to Nigeria through a sponsored public art project in his home state.
